Regulations for submission of films to the “Thessaloniki LGBT-Q Film Festival”:

  • Films have to be submitted with complete entry forms
  • All viewing DVDs – tapes have to be clearly labeled
  • The films should have: approx. 100 word synopsis 2 stills from the film scanned to JPEG with 300 dpi, complete filmography / biography of the director.
  • Viewing DVDs – tapes and any promotional material submitted will not be returned to the sender.
  • No material sent at charge of Festival will be accepted.
  • The holder of copyright authorises the Festival to make excerpts of a maximum of three minutes available to television channels and for use on the website for the promotion of the film and the Festival.
  • The holder of the copyright authorises the Festival to make a copy of the film for distribution to the press.
  • The organizers of the festival care for the translation of the dialogues and the subtitling of the films in Greek. Subtitles are provided during the screening, written on the DVDs – tapes, or on an additional area. The provided DVDs should allow (to removw any subtitles in other languages and) to put Greek subtitles on a transparent background.

Deadline: The deadline for submissions to arrive at the Festival offices for the Festival, is 15th May 2012.
